Electrical Engineering Expert in Advanced Digital Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge digital systems. As an FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex embedded systems using Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative FPGA architectures for advanced embedded systems.
  • Modify and optimize RTL designs for efficient FPGA implementation.
  • Create comprehensive FPGA design documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.
  • Debug and troubleshoot FPGA designs using simulation and hardware tools.
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure high-quality design and functionality.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of digital logic design and computer architecture principles.
  • Experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages and synthesis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
