We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Rhandirmwyn, working with young people with learning difficulties and disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals as they engage in various activities within the community, promoting independence and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist young individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities in community-based activities.
  • Support the development of life skills, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of the challenges facing young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • Experience working with young people with learning difficulties and disabilities, including emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Full clean driving licence (desirable).
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and Safeguarding.
  • Relevant qualifications in supporting young people in education and/or care (desirable).
