About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist to join our adult Cystic Fibrosis team. As a key member of the therapy service, you will play a vital role in the strategic development of our therapy service for Wessex regional adult Cystic Fibrosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of the therapy service for Wessex regional adult Cystic Fibrosis
  • Work collaboratively with existing staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Undertake admission prevention, individual support within patients' homes, and other community-based activities
  • Lead the therapy team in the absence of Band 8/7s and contribute to teaching undergraduate students
  • Provide specialist advice to colleagues and develop Band 3-5 therapy staff
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Experience with a variety of physical and mental health conditions/multiple pathology
  • Experience of working with support staff and in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Experience in independently managing a caseload of patients
  • Previous experience within relevant clinical area and on-call, where relevant to clinical area
