Job Title: Advanced Physiotherapist - Specialist Cystic Fibrosis

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our specialist cystic fibrosis team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, providing specialist physiotherapy services to adults with cystic fibrosis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the therapy team, developing and implementing therapy services, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the therapy team in the absence of the Band 8/7s
  • Develop and implement therapy services for adults with cystic fibrosis
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Teach undergraduate students and provide specialist advice to colleagues
  • Participate in service development, student supervision, and the development of Band 3-5 therapy staff
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

Postgraduate respiratory/Cystic Fibrosis clinical experienceRelevant qualifications and registration with the HCPCExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamExperience of working in a multidisciplinary team and leading a teamAbility to develop and implement therapy servicesWhat We Offer
