Deputy Home Manager Job Opportunity

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join their team in Woodbridge, Suffolk. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality clinical and pastoral care to residents, while also supporting the Home Manager in their duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deputise for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care, ensuring the highest levels of clinical governance.
  • Focus on residents with complex needs, utilising your nursing skills and managerial expertise to make informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement care plans, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide personalised, centred care to all residents.
Requirements:
  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience, with a strong understanding of CQC standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with service users and their families.
  • Good working knowledge of clinical governance and risk management.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external care professionals, families, and staffing teams.
