Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Support and deputise for the Home Manager, providing guidance and direction to nursing and care colleagues to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
  • Clinical Governance: Maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, regularly auditing practices and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest guidelines.
  • Resident Focused Care: Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, working closely with the care team to deliver personalised centred care.
  • Care Plan Development and Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans that meet the needs of residents, working closely with the care team to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the care team to deliver exceptional care, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
  • Experience: Previous Deputy Home Manager experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality clinical and pastoral care.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
  • Clinical Skills: Good working knowledge of CQC standards and the ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
