Kai Manaaki/Registered Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Kai Manaaki/Registered Health Professional to join our team and work with our young Maori clients and their whanau. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing effective care management and key work based on kaupapa Maori principles.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care management and key work to our Maori clients and their whanau
- Work collaboratively with community to benefit our Maori clients and their whanau
- Ensure optimal engagement with our Maori clients and whanau
- Develop and facilitate groups for clients and whanau as needed
- Support the team in delivering a service based on matauranga Maori
The Early Intervention Service is a multi-disciplinary team that offers assessment and treatment to young people who are experiencing psychosis for the first time. We aim to provide a bicultural, client-centred, strengths-based, and collaborative support programme.
We are guided by an evolving set of principles to ensure we deliver a service that is truly bicultural and optimized to achieve equity for our Maori clients. Our team regularly evaluates our outcomes, allowing us to constantly adjust, improve, and innovate the services we provide.
We offer clinical supervision, career pathway, cultural interventions, and ongoing training to support your growth and development.
About YouWe are seeking an energetic and passionate individual who enjoys working within a team and is committed to working with young Maori and their whanau. Our ideal candidate is able to adopt creative and holistic ways of assisting our tangata whaiora to recover from a first episode of psychosis.
Experience in delivering mental health services and a current practicing certificate and registration are essential. A current full driver's license is also required.
