Kai Manaaki/Registered Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Kai Manaaki/Registered Health Professional to join our team and work with our young Maori clients and their whanau. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing effective care management and key work based on kaupapa Maori principles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to the needs of our Maori clients and their whanau.
- Work collaboratively with community agencies and services to ensure optimal engagement with our Maori clients and whanau.
- Facilitate groups and workshops for clients and whanau as needed, using a strengths-based and client-centered approach.
- Support the team in delivering a service that is guided by matauranga Maori principles.
The Early Intervention Service is a multi-disciplinary team that offers assessment and treatment to young people (13-25) who are experiencing psychosis for the first time. We are a bicultural, client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative team that is inspired by the recovery-focused framework laid out in the book Recovery after a first episode of psychosis.
