United Community & Family Services, Inc. (UCFS) is seeking a highly skilled ECCP Consultant to serve as a mental health expert for early childcare providers and families in Connecticut. This role represents a critical opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Job Summary

The ECCP Consultant will work collaboratively with early childcare staff to identify, assess, and provide interventions for young children who may be at risk of suspension or expulsion from a childcare or early education program. Key responsibilities include providing coaching to early childhood providers, assisting with referrals, participating in training modules, and acting as a liaison between family, early childhood provider, and other support agencies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Master's degree in a Human Services related field, such as psychology, social work, or marriage and family counseling. A CT state license is also required, with licensure eligible applicants considered. Familiarity with early childhood care and education systems and programs is essential, with bilingual skills in Spanish being a plus. A valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary, as is vaccination against COVID-19.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
