We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Atrium Associates Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Job SummaryThis role involves assisting the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, as well as supervising and engaging with children during playtime and other activities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children with SEND.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and other activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes equality.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices, as well as a good understanding of how children and those with SEND learn.
- Patient, compassionate, and genuinely interested in the well-being and development of children.
The salary for this role is estimated to be £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
