A leading global distributor of products and logistical services to manufacturing businesses is looking for an Export and Compliance Controller.
The company has been established for many years, with a sales turnover of over £200 million and plans to grow this to £800 million over the next few years.
They serve the world's leading OEM and EMS companies with global product sourcing and traceability, electronic product design, logistics & supply-chain management as well as in-house anti-counterfeit testing and product obsolescence management.
Key Responsibilities:- Complying with current national and international legislations and regulations on export controls, HMRC policies, BIS export controls, and licensing requirements.
- Supporting all export shipping activities including documentation and licensing as applicable.
- Monitoring and improving processes to ensure compliance.
- Undertaking internal checks to ensure all sales activity falls within the scope of the applicable legislation.
- Supporting compliance visits and audits.
- Arranging collections/deliveries where required.
- Knowledge and experience of managing UK, EU, and US export control regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
This is a full-time role working standard office hours.
