About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Pinetree Lodge, supporting older adults with dementia. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital part in delivering person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including washing, dressing, and assisting with eating and drinking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the creation of a homely environment, promoting a sense of community and well-being among residents.
  • Participate in person-centered assessments and develop strategies to minimize the impact of challenging behaviors.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a passion for caring for people with dementia, excellent social skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships. You should have knowledge and experience of working with people with complex mental health needs and be able to recognize and maintain appropriate boundaries.
