Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at ABC Teachers. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a specific pupil, providing individualized support and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom.

About the Role:
  • Work 1:1 with a specific pupil, assisting in classrooms and providing interventions to support their learning
  • Help to de-escalate stressful situations and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to the pupil, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem

Requirements:
  • Effective behavior management skills and the ability to work with challenging behaviors

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with the pupil, teacher, and other school staff
  • Patience, resilience, and reliability, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support
  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils or in an education setting
