Exciting Opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health care to patients in a secure environment.

About the Role
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care to patients
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop treatment plans, and engage in multi-professional complex case reviews
  • Participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service and lead senior mental health clinicians on service developments
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff members

Requirements
  • Registered professional with current registration (GMC) Specialist Registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry
  • Up-to-date knowledge in adult psychiatry and PD
  • Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation
