We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing excellent clinical care, assessment, and treatment to patients on the case load onsite. You will also actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead the senior mental health clinicians on service developments, and provide clinical supervision.

Qualifications:
  • Registered professional with current registration (GMC)
  • Specialist Registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry
  • Approved under section 12 (2) of the MHS 1983
  • Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
  • Up-to-date knowledge in adult psychiatry and PD
  • Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation
