Job Summary:

Hudson Shribman is seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team at our leading chemicals production facility. As a Shift Process Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring the quality, efficiency, and safety of the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Monitoring: Monitor the condition of the process and take corrective action as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Data Management: Log and archive data related to the production process, including quality control and safety metrics.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels of resources to ensure sufficient supplies for planned activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Lab Department to ensure accurate and timely testing and analysis.
  • Logistics: Supervise the loading and unloading of road tankers and the use of forklift trucks.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in chemical process operations or a similar field is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Technical Skills: Possess a good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and report any problems to the relevant manager or department immediately.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that personal protective equipment is worn at all times and that all health and safety requirements are met.
  • Customer Service: Positively represent the company to customers and suppliers.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations and ISO standards.
  • Performance Management: Fully participate in the company's performance management and development programs.
  • Quality Assurance: Maximize own ability to produce quality work, on time, and to brief, utilizing best skills and available technology.
  • Company Policies: Work in accordance with the Company's Human Resources policies and procedures.

Working Hours: As this is a 24/7 site, you will be required to work on a 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern, which will include shifts covering nights and weekends and bank holidays.
