Aerospace Engineering Apprentice

Marshall of Cambridge Holdings Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as an Aerospace Engineering Apprentice. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to develop high-level skills and knowledge in aerospace engineering, with a focus on maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft.

This apprenticeship programme is designed for individuals who are passionate about aviation and have a strong interest in engineering. As an Apprentice Aerospace Engineer, you will be working closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and develop your technical skills.

The apprenticeship will cover a range of topics, including Level 2 Diploma in Aerospace & Aviation Engineering, Level 4 Diploma in Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (Competence qualification), and Level 4 HNC in Engineering. You will also have the opportunity to develop essential behaviours required for a future career in engineering.

Your responsibilities will include attending training sessions, managing your time effectively to complete coursework and exams, and participating in scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. You will also be expected to work within a project team to transfer requirements into deliverable products.

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must have at least 5 GCSEs at Grade A*-C/4-9 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English Language and Science. A Level 3 qualification in Engineering or A Levels preferably including Maths and Physics is also desirable.

We estimate that the salary for this role is around £28,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Please note that you must successfully pass all required medical and security checks if you are offered a place on the apprenticeship programme.
