Director of MIS and Data Systems

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Corporate Services function, encompassing Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Intelligence, Admissions, Exams, and Computer Services teams. As the Director of MIS and Data Systems, you will be responsible for maintaining the student record database, providing reporting suites, and overseeing the Individual Learner Record (ILR), Admissions, Exams, Reception, and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of MIS and Data Systems, ensuring seamless integration with other College systems.
- Oversee the provision and development of all aspects of Information Technology (IT) across the College, including hardware, software, networks, and related systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop effective solutions.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of teams, providing leadership and guidance to ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education to degree level or relevant industry experience.
- Significant experience of Further Education funding and rules, and Individual Learner Record (ILR).
- Experience of complex management information systems and corporate reporting.
- Effective communication, supervisory, and interpersonal skills to lead and work as part of a team.
