Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full and varied caseload of healthcare matters, including clinical negligence claims, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases.
  • Provide representation at inquests and before regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct medical device/product liability work and general advisory work.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare law and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in dealing with clinical negligence claims from a Claimant or Defendant perspective.
  • Experience in healthcare advisory work (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent drafting and legal research skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal documents and use specialist knowledge to advise clients.
  • An interest in Business Development and keen commercial awareness.
