Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Misconduct Specialist Lawyer to join our team at Thompsons Solicitors. As a key member of our litigation and regulatory team, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of litigated and non-litigated professional misconduct cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of professional misconduct cases, including those involving healthcare professionals and educators.
  • Utilize your technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to provide high-quality legal services to clients.
  • Represent clients from various sectors, including healthcare and education, in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified lawyer, with a strong background in professional misconduct and regulatory law.
  • Confident and decisive decision-maker with a focus on daily case progression.
  • Familiarity with professional misconduct work and regulatory procedures is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies, such as the HCPC, NMC, SWE, and TRA, is advantageous.
