Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Social Work Advanced Practitioner to join their Integrated Neighbourhood Team in Bury, Greater Manchester. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with individuals, families, and communities to provide exemplary social work practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct Practice and Leadership: Provide high-quality social work services to individuals and families, and lead by example in terms of practice and leadership.
  • Reflective and Evidence-Based Practice: Utilise advanced critical reasoning to model and facilitate reflective, evidence-based social work practices, and provide constructive feedback to enhance practice, policies, and procedures.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the social work function within your service area, prioritising tasks and managing risks effectively.
  • Safeguarding and Policy Adherence: Offer support and advice on safeguarding matters, and chair relevant meetings in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Staff Development and Recruitment: Act as a practice assessor for newly qualified social workers (ASYE) as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a recognised social work qualification.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in management and supervision of staff (desirable).
  • Comprehensive understanding of current safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure their consistent and effective application.
