About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate social worker to join our Initial Response Team (IRT) at Bury Council. As a Children's Social Worker, you will be part of a fast-paced and lively team that provides a positive and timely first experience of our service to children and families in the area.

The work is rich and varied, with a high level of multi-agency working often to tight timelines. You will be working alongside a Team Manager and other social workers, including Advanced Practitioners, to provide support and services to children and families.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Level 3 Social Worker, registered with SW England, and have access to a car to enable you to visit and support our children and families. You will also have a passion for ensuring that children and families receive a positive and timely first experience of our service.
