We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Coordinator to join our team at a reputable nursing home in the Wroxham, Norwich area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the care services and ensuring that they are consistently provided to a high quality standard. This is a permanent full-time role working 36 hours per week through day shifts.

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and empathetic Senior Care Coordinator to work in a state-of-the-art nursing home based in the Wroxham, Norwich area.

  • Maintain personal care of residents while promoting independence and dignity
  • Ensure consistent delivery of care services to high standards
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents and staff
  • In absence of the manager, assume responsibility for running the home and supporting staff and residents
  • Organise shifts, administer medication, record health information, liaise with professionals and manage computerised care plans
  • Support induction, training, and supervision of support staff
  • Provide assistance to residents with mobility issues or physical/learning difficulties using mobility aids and equipment

Requirements:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care required
  • Experience in supervising a care team is beneficial
  • Good leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Able to show empathy and understanding of resident needs
