Front of House Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team at LMH. As a key member of our catering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of catering assistants.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage a team of catering assistants to ensure high standards of service and quality.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and inclusive work environment, and promoting our values of Excellence, Community, Fairness, Knowledge & Understanding.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HACCP, COSHH, and RIDDOR.
- Manage events, bookings, and staff rotas, liaising with the FOH Manager and other departments as necessary.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce waste.
- Monitor and control budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Train and develop staff in line with College Values and the Investors in People framework.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Good computer literacy skills, with experience of using College systems, including KX, EPSYS, CINTRA, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Appropriate level of food safety and general health and safety qualification.
- Competitive salary of £29,700 per annum, plus benefits package.
- 36 days holiday, including bank holidays.
- Option to join a University pension scheme.
- One free meal whilst on duty, with a meal allowance paid when the kitchens are closed.
