Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Loughborough. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring all import requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and forecast inventory levels to optimize stock control and minimize waste.
- Ensure all import requirements are met, including customs documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement efficient business processes.
- Assist in product development and implementation of new processes to optimize stock control.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
