Event Production Specialist

At First Global Management Services, we're seeking a highly skilled Event Production Specialist to join our team. As an Event Production Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the technical production for mid-level events, requiring support with Audio/Video, staging, lighting, and design needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate event production equipment, including Yamaha CL 5, ETC CS20-AV lighting console, Ross Carbonite, and PTZ camera controller.
  • Provide feedback to facility Team Lead on event production equipment usage and efficiency.
  • Actively liaise with the event production Team Lead to provide feedback and suggestions on possible enhancements and improvements to the space.
  • Identify new and alternative ways of approaching FIRST's technical production offering to clients.
  • Manage client expectations on production challenges, proactively providing solutions.
  • Coordinate and support building of staging and A/V set up on-site as required.
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping and maintenance of a hi-tech conference venue.
  • Provide full event production support, including forwarding slide decks, video playback, live stream coordination, graphic support, and multi-camera operation.
  • Basic editing of video footage to provide clients with recordings of their event.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience within the technical event production/broadcast environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Full understanding of audio visual technology and advancements, including lighting, audio/video output, rigging, and power.
  • Ability to prioritize while adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
