Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling a high-quality manufactured range of water heating systems to plumbing contractors, installers, and merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the territory significantly, working in conjunction with the sales team and Sales Director.
- Account Management: Manage and maintain existing relationships with key accounts, including plumbing contractors, installers, and merchants.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing relationships with new customers and partners.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's water heating systems, including boilers, heat pumps, and cylinders.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Experience: Must have experience selling a plumbing & heating associated product into installers and contractors.
- Industry Knowledge: Ideally, have experience working in the plumbing & heating industry, with knowledge of water heating systems, heat pumps, and cylinders.
- Skills: Proven track record in field sales and territory management, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Qualities: Stable career history, trustworthy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hungry for success.
