About the Role:

The UK HSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the company's Zero Harm at Work and at Home culture across three manufacturing facilities in the UK. This role will involve providing expert advice, coaching, and support to managers and employees on health and safety legislation and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company adherence to current UK health and safety legislation.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety and health hazards.
  • Participate in accident and near-miss investigations and record findings.
  • Liaise with the Facilities Manager to ensure health and safety equipment is available and maintained.
  • Chair monthly health and safety meetings with site management and employee representatives.
  • Lead site safety improvements and work with the company to implement its HSE management system.
  • Design and deliver health and safety training to manage and improve health and safety standards.
  • Liaise with the global Health and Safety team to share best practice and ensure consistency.
