Health and Safety Manager

Dover Precision Components is a leading provider of performance-critical solutions across various industries, including oil & gas, power generation, and industrial manufacturing.
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our Zero Harm at Work and at Home culture across three manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK legislation.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and employees on health and safety matters.
- Liaise with the Facilities Manager to ensure health and safety equipment is available and maintained.
- Chair monthly health and safety meetings with site management and employee representatives.
- Design and deliver health and safety training to improve standards.
- Liaise with the global Health and Safety team to share best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a progressive background in health and safety, with a minimum of 3 years' experience heading the function for a medium to large manufacturing operation. They will have experience working in mechanical product manufacturing, such as precision engineering machining & fabrication, and supplying into highly regulated sectors.
