Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the entire cost accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Analyse and report on cost variances, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, implementing process changes to drive business growth.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department, driving process excellence and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ relevant degree/ professional qualification in Accountancy.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong communication and team working skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
