The Adult Psychiatric Care Manager role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychiatrist to take on a leadership position in our mental health team. As a key figure in our multidisciplinary team, you will oversee the provision of high-quality, intensive care to adults with functional mental health problems. Your main objective will be to ensure that individuals receive the most effective treatment in the least restrictive setting possible, taking into account their clinical and safety requirements.

About the Position

As a highly respected colleague, you will have the chance to collaborate closely with other consultants, participate in the Trust-wide consultant network, and engage in peer support initiatives. These interactions will not only foster a sense of belonging but also facilitate the exchange of best practices and expertise.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Oversee the delivery of intensive care services, ensuring compliance with established protocols and policies
  • Supervise junior staff members, focusing on their professional development and skill enhancement
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to ethical standards and NICE guidelines

We estimate the annual salary range for this role to be £130,000 - £180,000, based on qualifications and experience. Furthermore, you will be eligible for a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, up to £8,000 relocation allowance, and a series of retention payments during your employment.
