Digital Education and Training Position

South Staffordshire College is looking for an experienced educator to fill a permanent, full-time role in our Computing and Digital department. The successful candidate will teach L2/L3 and HE Computing and Digital subjects to students, supporting their learning and development in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in a relevant field, a full teaching qualification, and significant experience in teaching and software use, particularly with Adobe and Autodesk tools. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with colleagues and students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between £40,000-£60,000, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will benefit from opportunities for professional growth and contribute to the college's expanding computing provision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for Computing and Digital subjects
• Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Collaborate with colleagues to drive departmental objectives forward
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate best practices into teaching

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
• Full teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
• Extensive experience in teaching and software applications, especially Adobe and Autodesk tools
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
