Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bolton CAMHS for a skilled Children and Young Persons Wellbeing Practitioner to join our dynamic and dedicated team.
The role involves working within our therapy provision, delivering high-quality client-centered care to children and young people with mental health needs within the THRIVE Framework.
As part of the multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will be expected to build positive relationships with young people and their families, promoting engagement and collaborative working.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists, case managers, and support workers, providing Assessment, Formulation, Interventions, Advice, and Risk Management.
The post holder will be required to participate in clinical supervision and skills sessions, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Working for Greater Manchester Mental Health, the successful candidate will be part of a large and diverse team, employing over 6,400 staff members across 160 locations.
The Trust provides a range of mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality client-centered care to children and young people with mental health needs within the THRIVE Framework.
- Build positive relationships with young people and their families, promoting engagement and collaborative working.
- Participate in clinical supervision and skills sessions to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Work alongside experienced therapists, case managers, and support workers to deliver Assessment, Formulation, Interventions, Advice, and Risk Management.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner qualification from an accredited training provider.
- Experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs in a healthcare or community setting.
Desirable Criteria
- Accreditation in a relevant mental health or wellbeing framework.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of mental health problems relating to children and adolescents.
