Restart Employment Advisor Role
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Restart Employment Advisor to join our team at Aspire Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of customers with multiple barriers to employment, providing support and guidance to help them secure employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all interactions with your caseload, meeting customers face-to-face in the centre.
- Complete comprehensive diagnostics to understand customers' barriers to employment and their past experience/skills or learning requirements.
- Refer customers to training courses, workshops, and mentoring sessions to break down barriers to work and upskill each customer.
- Set SMART targets and review these at each intervention to ensure progression towards securing employment.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience working with unemployed customers, including managing a fluctuating caseload and working to job entry targets.
- Experience working with customers with multiple barriers to employment, completing in-depth diagnostics, and identifying a path to help them into work.
- Previous experience setting SMART targets and being target-driven in managing your caseload.
- Empathy and a passion to help others.
