Employment Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Employment Advisor to join our team at Aspire Recruitment. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals facing mental health challenges and other barriers to employment, as well as supporting those on sick leave in their return to work.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of clients presenting multiple barriers, including mental health issues, disabilities, substance misuse, criminal histories, and skills gaps.
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for each client to identify their specific challenges, past experiences, skills, and training needs.
- Collaborate with clients to establish SMART goals, meeting regularly to track progress, address new challenges, and ensure readiness for employment.
- Engage with local employers to uncover new job opportunities and promote these positions to clients.
- Provide up to six months of in-work support to clients who secure employment to ensure their successful integration into the workplace.
- Extensive experience as an Employment Advisor/Job Coach, demonstrating a successful track record in helping unemployed individuals secure work.
- Proficiency in creating SMART Action Plans tailored to individual needs.
- Expertise in managing complex cases through person-centred interventions, facilitating movement closer to the labour market.
- Proven ability in employer engagement, with experience identifying job opportunities and supporting clients through applications, interviews, offers, and feedback.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
