Patient Services Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Services Coordinator to join our team at Bruton Surgery, in Somerset. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including assisting patients in person and over the phone, managing appointments, handling repeat prescriptions, providing administrative support, and maintaining a welcoming reception environment.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role requires excellent communication skills both over the phone and face-to-face in a busy and fast-paced surgery. You will provide administration and reception duties for the surgery, which will include assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate services or healthcare professional and undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the surgery, in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols, and timescales.
- Coordinate administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient queries and concerns.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations, as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
You will be required to work accurately and prioritize your own workload effectively while working as part of a team, meeting competing deadlines. You will also be confident to proactively alert management / clinical staff to issues of quality, risk, and safeguarding, as part of your daily role.
