Their aim is to help individuals achieve recovery from substance misuse problems using skilled Substance Misuse Nurses and Recovery Practitioners.

The Ideal Substance Misuse Nurse:

Compassionate individuals who can support opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and promote the uptake of naloxone are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Opiate Substitute Treatment
  2. BBV Screening & Vaccinations
  3. Complete Clinical Audits weekly or monthly as required
  4. Participate in Clinical Supervision

Compliance Requirements:

  1. Enhanced Child And Adults DBS (Within 12 Months/Update Service Registered)
  2. Valid Right to Work
  3. Most Recent Employment References
