About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our team at McLaren Racing. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the performance of the team by providing detailed analysis and strong information to support decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reviews of nominal ledger data across the People Team, Sustainability and Facility departments.
  • Draft variance analysis of actuals vs budget and expectations.
  • Ensure high quality data is available to work with and accounts have accurate information in them.
  • Work closely with the finance transactional teams to apply the correct accounting treatment to transactions.
  • Review projects for completeness of cost, and perform reviews of purchase orders to ensure accurate coding is applied.
  • Prepare analysis for review and presentation with the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified or looking to begin qualifications.
  • Excellent Excel & IT skills, Power BI desirable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate emotional resilience and intelligence in the face of competing demands.
  • An organised individual with good planning ability and confidence in the identification of risk and opportunity.
  • Creative problem solver able to use technical skills and relationships to implement solutions.
