Job Title: Associate, Finance Business Partnering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate, Finance Business Partnering to join our team at McLaren Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the performance of the team with detailed analysis of financial data and providing strong information to support decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reviews of nominal ledger data across the People Team, Sustainability and Facility departments.
  • Review and analyze charges from our other entities and work collaboratively to access opportunities for future optimization.
  • Draft variance analysis of actuals vs budget and expectations.
  • Ensure high-quality data is available to work with and accounts have accurate information in them.
  • Keep forecasts updated and current.
  • Work closely with the finance transactional teams to apply the correct accounting treatment to transactions.
  • Review projects for completeness of cost and perform reviews of purchase orders to ensure accurate coding is applied.
  • Post monthly journals.
  • Prepare analysis for review and presentation with the team.

Requirements:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified or looking to begin qualifications.
  • Excellent Excel & IT skills, Power BI desirable.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize to work effectively to deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and enthusiastic.
  • Proficient in the detail and application of regulations.
