Japanese Power Market Analyst

Role

As a member of our proprietary trading team at Citadel Enterprise Americas, you will conduct in-depth analysis and research to identify commercially relevant projects related to the Japanese power market.

You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals, including Analysts, Traders, Meteorologists, and Quantitative Developers, to generate consistent profits.

We welcome both graduates and experienced professionals to apply for this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental and quantitative analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain complex mathematical models to analyze market data.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize projects related to the Japanese power market.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and adjust analysis and models accordingly.


Requirements

  • Professional fluency in Japanese.
  • Experience in applied mathematical modeling, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Excellent Python coding skills.
  • Strong understanding of mathematics, statistics, and optimization techniques.
  • Outstanding academic attainment, with a Master's or PhD in a STEM discipline.
