Job Title: Regulatory Risk Manager

Job Summary:

First Central Services is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Governance and Compliance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our business remains within our risk appetite by effectively delivering our Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP).

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on progress against the Compliance Plan (CMP), refining flexible aspects in line with risk profiles
  • Provide feedback to management on monitoring activity, gathering evidence for remedial actions
  • Produce Compliance Monitoring Reports, proposing actions and resolutions for findings
  • Report on progress against Compliance recommendations to senior management
  • Support the GCMM in compliance reviews of outsourced suppliers
  • Deputise for the GCMM as necessary
  • Support independent reviews of control environments, particularly adherence to procedures and risk mitigation
  • Support process reviews to ensure adherence to the Process Governance Framework

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in a similar role in the general insurance industry
  • Excellent understanding of motor insurance products and the industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, influence, and negotiate
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate issues and find resolutions
  • Excellent organisation, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Report writing to a high standard
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy
