Healthcare Professional for Benefits Assessment

Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Benefits Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life. You will work with complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders.
About the Role
You will conduct assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face meetings to understand how a person's disability affects their daily life. Your reports will help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits. As a Paramedic, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid HCPC registration number
- At least 1 year of post-registration experience gained within or outside an NHS ambulance trust
- The right to work in the UK
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
