Music Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Children's Hospice South West. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver music therapy sessions to children and young people in a variety of settings, including the hospice, home, hospital, and community settings.
- Work autonomously, with minimal supervision, to plan and prioritize your caseload and evaluate music therapy sessions provided.
- Develop and maintain music therapy equipment and resources within an agreed budget.
- Provide induction and in-service training to a wide range of staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Recognized Music Therapy qualification from an HCPC-validated course.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of delivering music therapy to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
- Ability to work unsociable hours, including some evening, weekend, and bank holiday working.
- Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory to CHSW.
