Senior Breast and Colorectal Oncologist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Breast and Colorectal Oncologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with colleagues in the Breast and Colorectal site reference groups, and contributing to the development of clinical trials.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide expert clinical care to patients with breast and colorectal cancers, including regular outpatient clinics and SACT prescribing and oversight
- To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
- To lead and deliver clinical trials, working closely with colleagues and research teams
- To contribute to teaching and supervision of medical students, junior medical staff, and AHP/nurses
- To participate in audit and support junior team members in their audit projects
Requirements
- Basic medical degree (MB BS, FRCR or equivalent specialist qualification)
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- CCT in clinical oncology or equivalent
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 12 months of the start date

Estimated Salary Range: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum dependent on experience.
