We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in breast and colorectal cancers and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in breast and colorectal cancer services
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical trials and research studies
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive cancer care
- Participate in teaching and supervision of medical students and junior doctors
- Contribute to the development of clinical governance and service improvement initiatives
- Basic medical degree
- MB BS, FRCR or equivalent specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- CCT in clinical oncology or equivalent
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 12 months of the date of the starting fixed term role
