Ashdown Group is delighted to partner with a successful and growing Events and Merchandising company seeking an experienced international Financial Reporting Manager on an interim to permanent basis for a newly created role.

The position is office based at the company's West London site, which has excellent transport links and on–site parking, allowing for some flexibility in remote working one day a week.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to support the CEO in driving the commercial strategy and overseeing the UK and German Finance teams, as well as working closely with international partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and oversee intercompany transactions.
  • Play a key leadership role, driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with international standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of project and year-end statutory accounts (turnover circa GBP50mil) in accordance with reporting guidelines.
  • Be responsible for intercompany accounting and ensure accurate consolidation of financial results across regions in compliance with UK, German, and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Closely collaborate with the Directors on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and play a key part in commercial decision making.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who possesses:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in managing intercompany accounting across international entities.
  • Solid leadership skills and experience of mentoring/coaching a team.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks desirable and other financial management tools.
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and identify process improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
