Nursing Associate Higher Apprenticeship Teaching Fellow and Academic Assessor
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse or nursing associate to contribute to the teaching modules on the Nursing Associate Higher Apprenticeship programme and act as an Academic Assessor to support the development of apprentices.
As a Teaching Fellow, you will work with the Deputy Programme Manager to ensure that all apprentices are benefiting from and engaging appropriately with clinical placements and protected learning time.
The integration between academic and professional learning is a key feature of the programme, so you will need a firm grounding in healthcare, both from an academic and professional perspective, and a thorough understanding of the requirements of the role of the Nursing Associate.
Key responsibilities include preparing and running academic assessor meetings with apprentices, identifying areas for development, and setting out and monitoring action plans.
Our apprentices are experienced health and social care workers who are part of the workforce delivering health and social care in a range of settings.
As an Academic Assessor, you will meet with apprentices and their Practice Assessor three times a year to support the development of their knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
