Salary

The salary for this position is between £600-£650 per week, commensurate with experience. This competitive package reflects the importance of this role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education to our learners from around the world.

About the Role

As a Leading Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering effective lessons with measurable outcomes to our students. You will work closely with the Director of Studies to support teachers with planning, delivery, paperwork, and training. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and deliver language-focused and engaging lessons.
  • Support teachers with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Assist with graduation photos and project showcase days.
  • Work as part of the academic team and support the summer team as a whole.
  • Attend and participate in academic meetings and INSETT sessions.
  • Assist with placement testing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • CETLA plus substantial young learner teaching experience/Trinity TESOL + DELTA modules or MA TESOL/linguistics modules.
  • A high level of computer literacy, particularly MS Office, email, and use of databases.
  • Excellent lesson planning skills.
  • Enthusiasm for summer school life.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
