About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in special needs schools across Hull. As a Psychology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with children with learning disabilities, additional learning needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build positive relationships with pupils and devise strategies to overcome barriers to learning.
  2. Provide vital support to teachers and pupils, helping them to get the most out of their time in education.
  3. Work in a variety of special needs school settings, supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs or learning disabilities.
Requirements
  1. A warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils.
  2. Either completed or working towards a qualification in Psychology.
  3. Willingness to work in special needs school settings.
