About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities, and empowering them to be as independent as possible.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualized support. Previous care experience with children is preferred, and the ability to participate in a range of activities with the client is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable the client to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities
  • Empower the client to be as independent as possible
  • Provide individualized support to meet the client's needs
  • Participate in a range of activities with the client
  • Assist with personal care, including moving and handling
Requirements
  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Experience of delivering therapy programs is desirable but full training will be provided
  • Dependable and professional, with a strong commitment to honesty and discretion
  • Experience of working with young adults with physical and cognitive impairment is essential
  • Previous experience working with clients with brain injury is preferable
  • Friendly and approachable, with excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure
What We Offer

As a Support Worker with Active Care Group, you will receive full training for this role, input from therapists, and regular supervision by the Case Manager.
